I played my first event last month. First of all thanks to all who put together this opportunity for veterans.
It was a little confusing to find registering for the tournament does not enter you into the tournament? It seemed groups had tournament and non-tournament players together ?. Also the purchasing of mulligans does not line up with a competition.
Would it be possible to separate the fund raising portion from the competitive piece. Fund raising for veterans is certainly admirable, sell raffle tickets, contest events ( closest to hole/ longest drive etc ) parallel to the competition.
It was a fun day on a great course and I look forward to the upcoming event. Just wondering if others might share a few of these ideas.
