Every day we lose more than 22 of our Heroes to PTSD. We have the solution to help them. By joining the Hero Golf Tour Network, you become a part of that solution. We host hundreds of golf tournaments per year and invite local Heroes to play for free which is paid for by us. The interaction with other Heroes in the Golf Tour community provides our Heroes a therapy and saves lives. When you join the Golf Tour Network, we’ll add you to the tour schedule and book tournaments at your course, showing our Heroes that your course supports them.

A Hero Day is when one of our Mission Ambassadors come out to your golf course and raise awareness, meet our local veteran and 1st responders playing golf, and raise funds that support our free mentorship and counseling programs and help us provide free golf tournaments for our Heroes.

Joining is Free without a commitment. Our Ambassadors greet the golfers and move them along at a steady pace. Golfers that desire to donate, can win Gift Cards to be used at your Pro Shop and it lets local Heroes know you support them. Saying yes to becoming a Hero Course saves lives, is great for boosting sales in the Pro Shop, and is fun for your players. Join the Hero Golf Tour and help save a life.

Vaaler Creek Golf Club is proud to be a partner with the Hero Golf Tour! The relationship is a win-win-win.

The players win by supporting a great cause and actually having a chance to win merchandise gift cards between $50 and $250 per person by hitting the green on one of our par-3s. The great part is that once a player donates one time, they are able to win every time they play when the crew is set up, which is most Saturdays. They don’t pressure the players to donate at all, and they’ve always had great interactions with our customers.

The organization wins by collecting money to help support such a meaningful cause and also making a safe place for the Heroes to play golf in a therapeutic atmosphere.

“The Alsatian Golf Club is honored to be a part of the Hero Golf Tour! The relationship is a win-win-win. We are very dedicated to our retired and/or active military. Anytime we can be involved in an organization that cares for our military, we are more than pleased to participate.

The players win by helping a great cause, and military and First Responders play for FREE. I think this is a great way to encourage these groups to come out and play. The tournaments usually have 44 to 56 players. We provide scoring afterward and usually donate rounds of golf or merchandise for prizes. We enjoy helping the Hero golf Tour.

The added excitement is the Par 3 challenge. This gives all the participants a chance to win merchandise gift cards between $50 and $450 per person by hitting the green on one of our par 3’s. We have Hero Golf out several times a month on Saturdays conducting this Par 3 challenge. We have a lot of weekend winners, and the participants have a good time with the challenge. They do not pressure the players to donate. They also have very good interactions with our customers.

The statistics for military veteran/First Responder suicide rates are terrible, and this organization works very hard to promote awareness and help. We enjoy our relationship with Hero Golf Tour and its staff. Shannon May is an excellent representative for the organization, and our staff enjoys working with her. “Growing up I watched as my father transformed and reunited people of all walks through his counseling. “I really enjoyed our conversation yesterday. Thanks again so very much not only for the wonderful new and inspiring opportunity you offered me in ministry, which I’m really looking forward to especially so I can help some of my fellow brothers struggling with many of the issues that I have over the last 30 years since I’ve been out of the Marines, but also thank you so much for bringing me closer to God and rescuing me from the desperate situation that I thought I was in when I was considering taking my own life. I know it’s never the answer but I just felt so alone like there was no other way out but I realize it’s actually just a permanent solution to a temporary problem. Thinking back on it now, I realize what a stupid decision it was and now that you and God have basically rescued my soul I’m eternally grateful and for the new opportunity to save others like me through the Acts Ministry that I’m really looking forward to. I’ve been reflecting on my favorite Bible verse this morning from Philipians 4:13 and need to remind myself of its saving truth more often since “I can do ALL things through Christ who strengthens me.” Thanks again so very much for taking almost 3 hours out of your busy day to devote to helping me restore my faith & rescue my soul. It means more to me than you’ll ever know. I’m thoroughly looking forward to the future now, not only to many more meaningful conversations with u but also to serving God with u and helping to rescue the souls of so many of my brothers in arms around the world struggling with ptsd also.
